Business Development Specialist

job summary:
Seeking an experienced Sales professional with 3+ years of business development experience. You will be in charge of managing customer accounts and campaigns. You will act as a liaison between external vendors and AGS sales personnel. Seeking someone with Salesforce experience. Pay is DOE but will range $24-$26 hourly

responsibilities:
What You'll Be Doing

- Manage demand generation programs and nurture campaigns for Windows Embedded & Azure

- Perform data mining on existing Embedded and Azure customers use cases, scenarios, and cloud consumption profiles for new demand generation activities and organizing call-down strategies

- Provide sales out reporting and analytics on demand generation campaigns and activities

- Assist in developing, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities for Azure cloud, working closely with Arrow Azure cloud architects and engineers to drive Azure consumption

- Work with AGS stakeholders to consolidate and maintain Azure sales pipeline

- Once an opportunity is closed, work with the CSX and Sales teams to nurture the growth opportunity and try to increase Azure services customers will be using over time

- Work with Alliances, other Arrow Business Units, and Arrow partners to create demand generation strategies, campaign, and qualify leads

- Liaise between potential external vendors and applicable AGS sales personnel to provide necessary updates, reporting

- Lead management, ensuring leads are passed to relevant AGS sales personnel and followed up on, with regular status reports

- Summarize each campaign on a monthly basis

- Lead summary on a monthly basis

- Opportunity analytics & summaries

- Manage account relationship by providing strategic service and support to assigned customer base

- Manage leads by making outbound calls to determine qualification for sales

- Meet daily and monthly customer contact goals

- Create net new customers and re-engage existing accounts that might be dormant

- Document and manage customer activity in Salesforce

- Achieve monthly incremental sales quotas, using Arrow's online ordering systems

- Responsible for sales excellence through the development and management of customer strategy in assigned account territory

- Other duties as assigned

 
qualifications:
What We Are Looking For

- College degree preferred or high school diploma with equivalent work experience

- 3-5 years of previous sales experience preferred

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Salesforce and other and Sales-related software

- Experience in Salesforce preferred

- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously

- Proven effective verbal and written communication skills

- Proven track record of strong work ethic and customer service

- Adaptability, resourcefulness, problem solving and superior multi-tasking capabilities

- Effective organizational and time management skills
