Financial Operations Support Specialist

job summary:
Our client is seeking an detail oriented individual interested in starting a career in finance as a Financial Services Operations Specialist. This is an entry level position that requires a Bachelors Degree.

The Financial Services Operations Specialist will ensure financing trades booked by the trading desk are processed quickly and accurately and resolve any trade exception issues by liaising with the trading desk and appropriate support teams.

Duties may include:

  • Processing incoming and outgoing paperwork including mail and facsimiles; support client service associates and operational personnel.
  • Checking inbound client documents for accuracy, notating all activities on the account, and submitting accurate forms for final processing to service center,
  • Make outbound contact both in writing and verbally with clients concerning paperwork.

Responsibilities:

Trade Processing


- Ensure financing trades booked by the trading desk are processed quickly and accurately.

- Resolve any trade exception issues by liaising with the trading desk and appropriate support teams.

- Perform trade reconciliation and resolve breaks.

- Troubleshoot problems arising on an ad-hoc basis and react to both the trading desk and client driven demands.

Relationship Management

- Support Compnay's lender relationships by providing superior client service.

- Manage team relationships throughout the firm at all levels, including Sales and Trading, Legal and Compliance, Risk Management, Technology, Finance, and Operations.

- Develop strong partnerships with IT colleagues to design, develop, and implement technology solutions to business requirements.

Must have strong flexibility in regard to the duties assigned and problem solving skills, be able to work independently.

 
qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree is required for this role.
