Job Description - Business Analyst /UAT

International Correspondent Operations is looking for a Business Analyst to provide support for a project to migrate the wire transfer business, processed on behalf of our Global Financial Institution customer base, from the existing application to a new platform. The Business analyst must be an excellent communicator with excellent writing skills. Their primary job function will be in write BRDs, adjustments and communicate with key stakeholders to write business processes.


Technical writing experience is a plus

User Acceptance Test (UAT) planning and execution in ALM system.

Very strong communication skills - written and verbal

Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team facilitation skills and the ability to present complex ideas in simple ways to all levels

Superior understanding of MS Excel, Word, Project, Access, Visio, SharePoint and PowerPoint tools

Ability to define, map, and analyze processes

Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills

Strong attention to detail to ensure all communication is accurate and well-written.

Strong prioritization and follow-up skills

Strong time management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage to deadlines

Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment


Excellent writing and communication skills

Money Transfer System (MTS) experience

3+ years finance or business industry experience (preference to International Group functions)

Thorough understanding of global financial market practices including, but not limited to, international payments, such as SWIFT, CHIPS, and Fedwire.

Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

Primary responsibility - Evaluating and writing BRDs, adjustments and processes.

Assist operations managers with managing the project workflow/lifecycle to ensure deliverables are met.

Coordinate weekly status reporting, collection and management of project issues, risks and decisions.

Provide general administrative support including monitoring calendars and setting up meetings

Serves as point of contact for project information and updates.

Interact with interface, technology, operations and Project Management partners.

Utilize technical/functional knowledge of applications to provide assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving moderately complex test problems.
