Excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a reputable and growing company in the Mount Joy area. The Senior Accountant position is open due to the promotion of the incumbent and will report to a wonderful hiring manager who our firm placed.

If you are a public accountant and have determined this to be your last audit / tax season, this is a great opportunity for you to transition to a corporate accounting position.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, quarterly reviews, annual audits, and annual budget.
  • Prepare general ledger entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing and analyzing financial data.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis explaining the differences between actual and budgeted revenue and costs.
  • Provide support during the annual budget process including reviewing and reporting budget information.
  • Support physical inventory process; review and provide inventory reporting
Our client requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of two years of hands-on accounting experience. Our client is open to candidates directly out of public accounting or candidates directly out of industry. Candidates must have strong Excel skills.
