Administrative Assistant

job summary:
Description:

Contractor will work to support the U.S. Trust Charitable Split Interest team in NYC with administrator functions including daily balance transfers, imaging, charity verifications, charity audit request, general correspondence, mailing and other projects as needed.

Candidates should have customer service experience, basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, good communication skills, and are able to work in a high-paced environment. They must also be able to manage and take ownership of multiple assignments, manage towards deadlines, work with a team, be dependable and have a professional demeanor. Experience with using various databases is preferred. There is also a strong preference for candidates with a college degree or at least 3 years of professional office experience.

Additional duties include: general client correspondence including annual contact letters, right to receive statement letters, information authorization forms, fee change acknowledgements, trust agreement copies and the general as needed including data scrubs.

Potential to be extended based on business needs.
