The Corporate Accountant for an organization based in Montgomery County MD will provide support to the finance department. Reporting directly to the Executive Director the Corporate Accountant is primarily responsible for performing daily accounting tasks related to general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other related financial areas as needed. They will manage the day-to-day accounting and month-end close functions for all entities.

Reconcile Bank Accounts
Review account reconciliations and variances
Reconcile sub ledger to general ledger for various accounts.
Prepare financial statements
Review the monthly financials and provide financial reporting and analysis to internal and external business partners.
Additional Duties - This position is responsible for audit prep schedules, participating in year-end close, assisting with the preparation of yearly taxes when required, and additional assessment and projects as needed.
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail and initiative
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
- Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills required
Salary is $60,000 - 70,000.
