Our client, a "real Parkville-Baltimore" based success story, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their successful team. This multi-generational general contracting business has a family-friendly, Baltimore "hon" business culture.

The Accounting Assistant is a key role in supporting all accounting, bookkeeping, adminstration, insurance and audit assistance.

responsibilities:
The Accounting Assistant supports the general accounting department including accounts receivable and accounts payable processing as needed,

processing of vendor invoices and cash disbursements, HR assistance, Insurance audit assistance, front desk operations and oversight, company-wide vendor database maintenance, and coverage during team member absences.

This is as wonderful role to learn the day to day accounting operations, develop from the ground up in accounting and support a wonderful controller.

 
qualifications:
  • Experience in Bookkeeping, office adminstration, accounts receivable and payable is required.
  • Strong communication skills and customer facing abilities.
  • MS Excel, Word and QuickBooks is preferred.
