Finance Support Representative

job summary:
Our Client is Hiring! We are seeking a Finance Support Representative!

Duties Include:

  • Handling high volume, complex, and sensitive funds
  • Processing standing wire instructions, clearing outstanding debits, resolution of escalated issues, reissues, processing and investigating payments, check and Fed wire disbursements, check stop payments, etc.
  • Associates are required to meet production and quality standards, cross train in multiple functions, adhere to compliance and control guidelines, and interact with internal and external clients, as well as peers in phones and operations.

Job Justification:

1. Rationale why it is critical to hire a replacement: Leaving this requisition unfilled would present reputational risks associated with delayed payments, financial risks associated with delayed currency conversions, and financial risk surrounding potential overpayments.

2. detail what work would not be completed without this hire: Time-sensitive payments, FX Conversions, Share transfers, clearing outstanding debits, and resolution of escalated issues.

3. why other work with other resources cannot be reprioritized instead: Daily volume of items being processed cannot be maintained with existing staffing levels. The highly manual environment is prone to risk, with significant volume fluctuations due to corporate client activity, mailings, and market volatility. A reduction in Associate staff would increase turnaround time, impacting service levels. A reduction would also increase risk as fewer team members attempt to process volume more quickly.
