Cost Analyst - $60,000 to $75,000

Excellent new opportunity to join a growing privately held manufacturing company. This is a newly created role and will report to the company's Chief Financial Officer. Our client is conveniently located on the east side of York to provide an easy commute from most parts of York County, the western half of Lancaster County and parts of Cumberland County. Our firm has placed candidates for this client in the past and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. This is NOT your traditional cost accounting / accounting role!

This "hands on" role will lead and perform the cost accounting responsibilities and reporting for this company's local manufacturing plants. This position will be heavily involved in cost accounting, sales analysis and inventory reporting. In addition, the size and growth of our client company will allow this position to get involved in general accounting and financial analysis. Our client prefers a "roll your sleeves up" Cost Accounting professional who is comfortable on a manufacturing plant floor. This cost accounting role that will work hand in hand with the folks on the manufacturing floor. They are looking for a detail oriented accountant with good communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of one year of Cost Accounting / Plant Accounting / Inventory Accounting experience. Candidates must come directly from manufacturing environment.
