Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis

job summary:
Randstad Professionals is has an immediate need for a Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis with a growing company in the greater Broward county area. Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis will be responsible for reviewing general ledger accounting activity intercompany reconciliations and consolidations for numerous entities. The Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis will also be responsible for the presentation and review of key financial information to senior management.

responsibilities:
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for complex accounts and be involved with the monthly financial close process
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial information in addition to the presentation of significant material changes to senior management
  • Review and analyze financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness of balances the month-end closing and financial reporting, analysis and presentation
  • Work directly with field operations to research and develop explanations for actual vs. budget/ forecast and prior period fluctuations
  • Assist with the preparation of a quarterly reporting package for senior management
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports for management analysis and review
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process, oversee data entry and tie-out, assist with the preparation of a final budget presentation
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, including preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
  • Assist with the preparation of a quarterly reporting package for senior management
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports for management analysis and review
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process, oversee data entry and tie-out, assist with the preparation of a final budget presentation
  • Assist management with special projects and reports, as required

 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required; Master's Degree in Accounting and/or CPA license are preferred
  • 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience work for a mid-large companies, mix of private and public is preferred
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management and Workday knowledge is a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication, deadlines driven, ability to multitask and prioritize
