Identify, analyze, and monitor financial risk of our commodity portfolio, focusing on market, liquidity, and credit risks
Negotiate credit provisions for commodity trade agreements and ensure compliance with industry and company standards
Analyze the financial strength of counterparties, recommend risk limits according to each counterparty's credit worthiness and obtain appropriate approval
Conduct ongoing monitoring of counterparties financial position and annual reviews to ensure continued creditworthiness
Implementation of credit policy and operating procedures, work with management team to determine limits and approvals required
Perform analysis of markets, sectors, and groups of companies to enhance commercial management and improve credit management
Manage key credit projects on behalf of the credit function as required
Maintain relationship with key counterparties
Proactive support of trading desks for each transaction including appropriate negotiation of credit clauses
Financial analysis skills on public and private companies strongly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong planning, organizational skills and self-discipline are essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA is a plus
SQL and experience with ETRM systems are preferred
Strong attention to details
Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English, specifically the ability to read and write highly preferred
0-3 years of experience in credit finance department within banking, energy or commodity trading industry
Bachelor's degree in one of the following majors: Finance, Accounting, Business, or related degree, MBA highly preferred
Experience with commodity markets, trading concepts and risk metrics is required.
