Corporate Actions Analyst
The Corporate Action team is responsible for accurate and timely retrieving, interpreting, and processing of all related corporate action events that are announced in the market. The team communicates with the Middle Office, Client Service, traders, and clients on a regular basis to relay their decisions in the market, works with custodian banks to ensure instructions are received and executed, and is responsible for the posting and the reconciliation of cash and stock entitlements.

Variety of Operations functions centered on the processing of Corporate Action including Mandatory, Voluntary events. Processing, handling, documenting events. These roles may involve the physical and electronic handling of information.
As a Transaction Processor you will:
Process and manages transaction processing related to corporate action events (Mandatory and Voluntary)
Reviewing all applicable reorg accounts and resolving outstanding breaks related to corporate actions
Confirmation of trade
Accountable for operational risk management
Drives execution of operational strategy
Derive metrics present business updates to Functional Managers
Process Improvement mindset
The Asset Servicing Corporate Action is responsible for the processing events for Mandatory, Voluntary for WHEM and Proxy for Global. The individual candidate should be familiar with various vendors such as DTC, Markit, Sub-custodian Swift messages, and other external sources.
Additionally this role will require:
Must have prior reconciliation experience
Must have strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
The development and reporting of key metrics
Ability to perform in a fast paced, high volume environment which will require a highly organized person with the ability to focus on details
Very strong written and verbal skills
Seeking working knowledge of all facets of Corporate Actions space, including Conversions, RTS, WTS and 144 to REG S and vice versa
