Accounts Receivable Coordinator

A stable and growing essential services logistics company seeks an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to be responsible for effective management, analysis and problem resolution of the company's outstanding accounts and the application of payments. Job Duties:

Reviewing and evaluating the status of customer accounts - Daily collection activities including making and receiving collection inquiries both via email and telephone - Issue invoices and bills and send them to customers through various channels (mail, email, etc.) - Resolve customer disputes by providing additional information and research to customer's - Review invoices to identify errors before invoice delivery - Receive payments through various methods (cash, online payments, etc.) and process/apply payments through the company's system


- Superior customer service skills including unflappable demeanor - Proficient in MS Word and Excel and QuickBooks - Transportation /Logistic experience preferred - Position requires a thorough understanding of accounts receivable including collection policies - Procedures, and best practices, knowledge of financial transaction processing - Basic accounting procedures and concepts - Ability to work autonomously as well as take direction from management (work collaboratively in a team environment) - Exceptional oral and written communication skills
