Investment Account Manager

job summary:
Investment Account Manager Support Specialist/Account Associate 3

Works directly with Relationship/Account Managers in administering the most complex and non-routine portfolio of accounts and independently handling the ongoing transactions of the account.

  • Assists relationship/account managers in proactively handling and resolving customer issues and problems; interfaces with operational areas, internal departments and outside vendors as needed to resolve problems.
  • May provide daily account management administration of a basic portfolio while continuing administration duties on complex accounts.
  • Ensures accounts are managed according to policies, procedures and regulations; and monitors daily account administration.
  • Provides guidance to more junior specialists/associates.
  • May have team lead responsibilities in the relationship/account associate group.
  • Reviewing a variety of complex deals, ensuring deals are compliant with the document-defined duties, addressing issues as they arise and escalating as required.
  • Interfaces with operational areas and internal departments as needed to resolve problems. Will have contact with internal team members via email and phone to perform verification. Will participate in systems testing to support new processes and procedures.
Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services, customer service, or, customer account management experience; or a BS/BA degree or higher in business

Trust, custody, legal, corporate, finance, or financial services experience Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Extensive math skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems

Ability to mentor and train less senior staff Ability to interpret and comprehend complex legal documents

Desired qualifications

- Corporate trust experience

- Ability to interpret and comprehend complex legal documents

- Ability to provide strong customer service and develop customer relationships

- Quality assurance review experience

- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

- A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or other business related field
