Summary: The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 5-7 years experience required.

Summary:

This role is responsible for understanding clients' business practices, market position, and deployment of technology in healthcare environments. Specific expertise in Epic HB and Revenue Integrity Best Practices in Epic.

Duties may include:

- performing technical and business related research to support client needs

- assisting in the installation/implementation, development, and analysis of materials/process/systems including technical training.

- Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with client, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution. -

- Develops solutions to operational problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical and revenue integrity operational knowledge.

- Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.

- Responsible for entire projects or processes within an area. May be responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower level technical staff.

- Communicates with client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.

- Contribute to the strategy for achieving objectives, identifying the steps necessary to successfully achieve project milestones

Requirements Education and Minimum Experience:

- Seasoned Epic HB individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.

- Experience in Epic HB charge and EAP build and implementation

- Direct operational experience in an acute care setting revenue integrity role

- Deep understanding of Epic HB and revenue integrity / CDM program needs

- Responsible for developing solutions to technical and operational problems and issues that may be difficult and unclear.
