Senior Property Accountant
Do you have experience with real estate property accounting? Would you like to work for one of the leaders in real estate development? We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant. The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and at least four (4) years of experience including Public Accounting. Step into the role of Senior Property Accountant where you will be responsible for full month-end close, reconciliations, and preparing the Common Area Maintenance (CAM)/OPEX Reconciliations.

Perform month-end close process, including preparation of account reconciliations, journal entries, account analysis and monthly financial statement review for property portfolio.
Reivew third party property manager's accounting packing including general ledger acitivity, reconciliations and financials to finalize and upload into the Accounting software system.
Preparation of month end financial statement package.
Review or prepare CAM / OPEX Reconciliations.
Review or prepare property operating budgets, as needed.
Review coding of accounts payable invoices.
Review accounts receivable and prepare single tenant properties invoices, collections analysis report and apply payments accordingly.
Perform quarterly financial variance analysis and submit lender covenant reporting requirements.
Prepare partner financial reporting requirements.
Prepare annual tax work papers and coordinate tax preparation with tax prepare.
Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
Special projects and other duties as needed.
All other duties assigned by Senior Management.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
4-6 years of property accounting experience required.
Solid understanding of accounting processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and related products.
Must be deadline focused, organized and exhibit problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
