- Analyze results monthly/quarterly for productivity savings initiatives

- Report out variance analysis on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis and assist in the creation of forecasts

- Partner with all relevant departments in the organization, including procurement, supply chain planning, finance, transportation and others, to ensure material master data and variances are accurately collected, submitted and reviewed

- Support the preparation of material for the monthly commodity and currency risk management meeting and action any decisions reached in the meeting. Monthly tracking of financial results against decisions and book journal entries to ensure financials reflect all hedging activities and potential rebates.

- Assist in the control and maintenance of standard cost system

- Perform month-end and year-end closing functions that pertain to Cost of Sales

- Perform and report out standard cost analysis and impacts of purchase price variance

- Vet reasonability of productivity initiatives savings for direct materials on monthly/quarterly basis

- Perform & report out to management forecast impacts of purchase price variance for the business

- Prepare volume/price/mix analysis on cost of sales

- Participate in preparing the annual budget and the periodic reforecast of cost of sales and ensure costing is updated timely and accurately

- Focus on continual process improvement and ensure compliance and control, create if/as needed, standard procedures and policies for data control

- Develop weekly reporting that allows us to identify any potential errors in standard costing

- Participate in periodic routines with Finance to review rebates and hold monthly meeting with Procurement Finance to prepare for month end functions and purchase price variance reporting and analysis

- Develop and maintain solid partnerships with stakeholders, procurement, supply chain and operations

- Maintain highest level of confidentiality concerning bottler pricing structure and product roll outs

- Participate and manage ad-hoc projects and other duties as they arise

- Resolve and clearly communicate any issues with relevant stakeholders

- * Minimum one to three years of experience in accounting or finance

- Firm understanding of inventory accounting and related movements as well as a firm understanding of absorption costing and variable vs fixed expenses

- Cost accounting Experience with an ERP or MRP system, SAP experience is preferred

- Excellent analytical approach

- Understanding of production, warehouse and distribution processes

- Broad experience in production/deployment planning in a complex environment - Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Strong communication and influence skills

- Solid business writing skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products; knowledge of advanced Excel functionality and knowledge of Access is preferred

- Flexibility to adjust workload and hours when necessary
