Job Description:

  • Responsible for the management, editing and negotiation of service, sales and licensing agreements, NDA's and other legal documents.
  • Other responsibilities include enhancing and maintaining policies and procedures relating to contracts consistent with legal, compliance and business needs and acting as an effective liaison between attorneys and business partners to address issues as they relate to contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and extract complex legal, technical and business issues and act as an internal consultant to facilitate accurate and creative solutions to operational and other business issues is required. Prior experience in operating a contracts database is highly desired.
  • Must have strong attention to detail, the ability to work across the enterprise or within cross-functional team and have strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications and Outlook is required.
Skills:

  • Experience within indirect sourcing categories and contract review or negotiation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven track record of building effective working relationships with business partners
  • The ability to partner with and project manage cross-functional teams (Risk, Legal and Procurement) to drive contract and price negotiations that maximize value and mitigate risks while ensuring internal stakeholders' requirements are met
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability to effectively explore alternatives to reach mutually beneficial outcomes \
