The Retirement Services Team within the Company Service Network (MSSN) provides Operational support to Company financial advisors and their teams. The Retirement Services team responds to a variety of inquiries related to retirement accounts and products, contribution and distribution procedures, and IRS rules and regulations. The team is responsible for providing a high level of service to our financial advisors in supporting a wide range of regulations, systems, policies, and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain effective relationships in order to deliver world class service to our Financial Advisors, their teams, and other branch employees. Handle incoming phone calls and written queries from financial advisors and branch employees related to client IRA and Qualified Plan accounts. Utilize various internal and external resources and tools to provide information and resolve issues. Follow established procedures to process requests, route for processing requests to the appropriate teams, and to escalate requests/inquiries when needed. Meet team and department service goals as established by MSSN management.

- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

- Ability to establish and maintain positive client relationships

- Ability to diagnose and solve problems creatively

- Ability to recognize and diffuse potential issues and/or difficult interactions

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and listening skills

- Desire and ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to various situations

- Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 years financial industry experience

- Working well within a team environment

- An interest in and ability to understand IRA/401k/and other IRS regulations

Skills desired:

- Experience related to retirement investment products such as IRA's

- Current or past Series 7 preferred

- Bachelor degree preferred
