Randstad Professional is actively recruiting a Data Analyst Associate for one of our Financial Service clients with a location in Newark, DE The Data Analyst Associate will be responsible for visualizing data from Corporate Action department and presenting data to senior level management (via PowerPoint). Ideal candidates with have a minimum of three year experience within Financial Services and performing data analyst functions. responsibilities:
  • Processing of corporate action events (voluntary and mandatory) for US and international markets
  • Daily liaising with Front and Middle Offices, Depositories, Global Custodians and market counterparties
  • Will require to manage the daily workflow with tight deadlines and high volume of transactions
  • Investigation and resolution of all complex corporate action queries
  • Cash and stock break management
  • Ensure all daily controls and processing are completed
  • Be proactive in seeking alternative, efficient and cost effective methods to improve current processes
  • Ensure input of all key metrics as required
  • Ensure adherence to escalation policies, maintain up to date awareness of risk policies and procedures, attest to operational procedures at required intervals
  • Work on projects as required by industry mandate, process improvement plans, client requirements
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent work experience
  • Asset servicing knowledge and experience within securities operation environment preferred
  • Knowledge of the transaction / trade lifecycle
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing business and technology needs
  • Strong risk and control awareness and ability to implement mitigating controls
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Exceptional problem / issue resolution skills
  • Capable of working under pressure and to cope with changes
  • Relationship building skills, strong ability to develop partnerships to drive results
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
