job summary:
JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for assisting grants managers with sponsored, and non-sponsored, post-award functions across multiple divisions where investigators conduct laboratory-based and patient-oriented research in multiple locations. This will include developing budgets; producing and/or managing financial reporting, monitoring expenditures and ensuring expenses are posted

Education And Experience Required

Bachelor's degree preferred (Accounting or Finance major preferred)

Two to four years of grant and budget experience - non profit preferred

Research administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2-4 years of Accounting experience required, specifically with accounts payable, accounts receivable, analysis, reporting, reconciling, and journal entries.

Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Web based programs and tools, Gmail and related Google applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Excellent math skills, excellent customer service skills and attitude. Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) effectively at all levels.

Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.
