An established financial institution seeks a Senior Accountant responsible for the month end closing process, preparing financial statements, researching variances. quarterly board reports and budget preparation.

Oversees weekly sales team and cost center budget report preparation.
Reviews Operating Committee reports prepared by team members.
Backs up the Accounting Analyst for the daily management of the Bank's cash position.
Oversees the month end closing process. Reviews variances in income and expense monthly and books appropriate accruals as necessary. Responsible for the monthly board financial statement preparation.
Responsible for the quarterly board financial reports for interest rate risk, liquidity and the investment portfolio.
Assists the CFO with the preparation of the annual budget.
Prepares and reconciles the quarterly earnings release tables. Prepares draft earnings release narrative.
Prepares the Earnings per Share calculation quarterly.
policy annually and recommends any changes to the policy.
Prepares the annual financial statements and footnote disclosures. Coordinates the completion of the project with external auditors.
BA or MBA preferred
