FP+A Systems Analyst

job summary:
Our client's implementation team is looking to add a FP+A Systems Analyst to their team in San Jose, CA. The primarily responsibility of this candidate will be assisting with the implementation of Anaplan.

Anaplan Consultant (3 months +):

  1. Support various Anaplan maintenance and validation post implementation in the day to day business operations
  2. Ensure smooth transition post implementation, that in absence of Anaplan SI post go live, models are continuously developing and being refined
  3. Assess existing Anaplan models, recommend and optimize models (Workforce planning/ OPEX/Cost of Revenue/Capex/Workflow) by incorporating new functionalities as needed, challenging existing model flow and designs
  4. Ensure Anaplan is in best shape to support upcoming migration of annual budget in early next year
  5. Work with cross functional teams to resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation; Cross validation on accuracy of historic and forward-looking financials
  6. Develop model documentation that articulates modeling instructions and upkeep requirements
  7. Train FP&A team in areas where needed to ensure continuation of model maintenance
  8. Assist in other FP&A tasks in association to FY22 AOP Planning
Requirements:

  • Hands on experience in implementing and configuration of Anaplan, maintain lists, modules, dashboards, actions and other model settings with a focus on Anaplan best practices
  • Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling
  • Certified Anaplan modeler intermediate + strongly preferred
  • Ability to play a consultant role on Anaplan platform to understand and translate a stakeholder's business, informational and process needs into Anaplan solution
