Part Time Accounts Payable Coordinator

job summary:
We are assisting our client located in Shiremanstown, PA with a Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant role. Work Monday through Friday and pay is $16-$18 an hour DOE.

In this position, you will perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of account payable transactions. This position is part-time but has the opportunity to go full-time.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
  • Sort, code and match invoices
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Accounts payable invoice and data entry.
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Skills Requirements:

  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks beyond general accounting.
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Organizing and prioritizing
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent
