Financial Compliance Attorney

job summary:
A major financial institution has a need for an attorney for a compliance project.

This is a temporary position expected to last for 1 year in duration. An extension is possible, and there is also the potential that this role will convert to a permanent position.

Work will be 8 hours/day during standard business hours, for 40 hours/week.

Work is remote to start but will move in-office when COVID settles down, so candidates must be in the Charlotte market.

Pay varies depending on experience.

responsibilities:
Responsible for providing oversight and monitoring of risk-based compliance programs designed to drive compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory and/or Corporate Policy requirements.

 
qualifications:
This role requires:

- An active license to practice law.

- Financial services compliance experience is preferred but not required.
