Job Description:

Fully remote - candidate can sit anywhere in U.S.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing project activity for an assigned business line or for projects that cross several business lines. Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Typically works with senior business line management to formulate project scope. Manages a medium to large indirect project staff. Projects are very complex with considerable difficulty and generally cross several business lines. Projects often require twelve months or more to complete.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Directs and monitors project activity for an assigned functional area.

- Participates in meeting and task force activities to identify project goals, gains consensus on project steps, schedule and implementation procedures and estimates project costs; fosters cooperation and involvement from support team.

- Interviews users to identify and analyze needs; develops a project plan and provides input to recommendations for request and/or problem resolution.

- Identifies internal and/or external resources to ensure successful project completion in accordance with user needs.

- Prepares project status reports; makes alterations in project plan as needed.

- Assists with or prepares project implementation steps and documentation as appropriate; ensures a smooth implementation of project; resolves problems.

- Participates in training users as applicable.

- Participates in project evaluation against estimated plans and costs; provides continuing support and service as required.

- Manages performance of project team and evaluates overall performance.

- Work with internal teams, product and technology teams, and external vendors translating business needs into requirements.

Basic Qualifications

- Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

- 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

qualifications:
Basic Qualifications

- Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

- 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Considerable knowledge of call center and collections business

- Strong organizational and analytical skills

- Thorough knowledge of project and/or program management

- Experience with MS Project preferred and strong knowledge using MS Office Suite

- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

- Demonstrated leadership skills and proven initiative

- PMP a plus

- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies desired

Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project. Manages performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance.
