Support Service Specialist (Level I)

job summary:
Job Description:

Associate should have knowledge necessary to prepare, research and/or service active and/or paid off auto/boat/recreational vehicle collateral. Works in a team environment where answering questions and providing information to fellow associates will occur throughout the day, and leading by example is expected. Completes reports and logs work assignments as required. Will have direct contact with bank customers, state licensing agencies, business partners, and third party vendors and is expected to present self and department in a professional manner. Undetected errors could have measurable impact on external customer and dealer relationships.

Required Skills:

  • Will require good working knowledge of applications used to complete tasks, with solid knowledge of overall PC functionality in a Windows environment.
  • Strong typing skills and ability to navigate through web based systems.
  • Customer-centric focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to perform multiple tasks within limited time frames.
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit professional demeanor in all situations. Strong team player.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change without negative impact to performance and/or productivity.
  • Must have a recent proven track record of providing excellent customer service skills with high call volume to customers, dealers and Dept of Motor Vehicles.
  • Knowledge of titling processes with the DMVs.
  • Ability to work independently, while managing pipeline, call volumes and workflow coordination, with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
  • General knowledge of products/services including basic understanding of simple-interest loans.
  • Knowledge of titling processes with the DMVs.
  • Florida Notary Public license a plus.
Resource is required to be on the assignment for the required hours as specified in the job description. Forty hours per week is the expectation in the absence of specified hours. Attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position; therefore, unexcused absences and tardiness could result in dismissal. 0 - 2 years. Responds to all problem reports, monitor, evaluate, and report all performance issues. Anticipate need through YE but may end sooner.
