Technical Recruiter

job summary:
Great opportunity to join our growing client in Northern Virginia's tech corridor. You'd be a stand alone recruiter focused on federal tech talent, with the ability to shape your own recruiting department, this client wants someone that wants to find their next home. What will you be doing?

  • Full-cycle recruiting that will include sourcing candidates, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events.
  • Work with hiring managers to develop recruiting plans and attractive job descriptions
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines to align with recruitment needs, maximizing relationships with your network
  • Act as a resource to management on the employment market, unemployment and new recruiting techniques
  • Source candidates through a variety of methods including job postings, social medial, referrals, career events, etc.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, next step with candidates and hiring managers, assist with salary negotiations and offer letters
  • Prepare compliance reports for EEO, VETS and AAP
  • Prepare monthly reports on recruitment metrics such as number of requisitions worked, time to fill and fill ratio.
What Qualifications should you have?

  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least two of those working in a federal or government contracting environment
  • Must have hands on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Strong technical skills, can work in an Excel spreadsheet
  • Position requires US Citizenship, may be required to obtain a DoD security clearance
  • A PHR or SHRM certification would be preferred, but is not required
