Randstad has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Assistant in Florence, KY 41042 on a right-to-direct hire basis for an initial contract through December 31, 2018.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Perform administrative work and maintain employee files for the Human Resources department

Enter employment data into computer database

Assist HR Director with the hiring process, including performing initial candidate phone screens, submitting job postings online, and scheduling candidate interviews

Assemble new hire packets for orientation and coordinate logistics for new hire orientations

Enter employee data into background check software for new hires

Post internet job postings and participates in career fairs as requested

Ensures effective communication and application of company values and behavioral standards, as stated in company's "Code of Conduct" policy

Responds appropriately in the event of any known departure

WHAT IS NEEDED IN THIS ROLE

Must be a team player, able to work under pressure and multi-task

Must be able to develop relationships with hiring managers and other employees

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

HR Generalist knowledge and prior staffing experience a plus

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Able to work in a very fast paced environment

Must be able to travel to local career fairs
