Human Resources Business Partner

job summary:
As a member of the HR team, you will play a critical role as a true HR Business partner supporting the US businesses (about 500 employees). This role reports to the Director of Human Resources for US.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide counsel to management and employees on policies and performance management issues
  • Partner with business on all lateral recruitment needs and manage the hands on, full-cycle recruitment process, including acting as an agency vendor liaison on the roles we outsource and interviewing candidates
  • Execution of HR processes in conjunction with Directors, HR including performance management, year-end compensation and promotion process, recruitment, headcount planning and reporting, and other corporate initiatives
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of HR strategies, policies and systems.
  • Provide guidance and advice regarding performance, career mobility, professional development, and employee relations issues
  • Responsible for the day-to-day transactional matters related to recruiting, on-boarding, transfers, relocations, and separations
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
  • Partner with Director on culture and workplace initiatives
Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience, including a strong HR generalist background preferably in the financial industry
  • Expertise in areas such as performance management, recruitment, employee relations
  • Collaborative behavior and team orientation
  • Project management with strong execution skills and ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities
  • Ability to frame issues and provide solutions
  • Sound judgement and high level of maturity
  • Strong relationship management skills and client service orientation
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree required
