job summary:
TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruiting, researching, interviewing, screening, and referring job candidates for job openings in various state client locations by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Works closely with managers and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.

Personnel requisition tracking within HR database by providing weekly status and updates on open requisitions or recruiting campaigns.

Prior internet recruiting, job fairs, networking, referral and employment advertising experience. Write and place job advertising in various media.

Develops and coordinates internal and external job postings with the hiring managers. Coordinates participation, and sets up displays at job fairs.

Develops and maintains network of contacts in the state markets we have client sites to help identify and source qualified candidates.

Reviews applications and pre-screen applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.

Refers candidates for additional interviews with the program managers in the states we have client sites.

Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants.

Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants and performs reference, drug test, background, and prior employment checks on applicants.

Must Haves:

Minimum of two to three years of full-life cycle recruiting for physical security and technical security positions with low to high level security clearances.

Ability to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily

Strong verbal and communication skills

Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
