Scrum Master

job summary:
This leader would be responsible for overseeing two software development teams leveraging the agile methodology. We are seeking a candidate who has proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.

Essential Duties:

· Coach and lead Agile teams to higher levels of maturity

· Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners while delighting customers

· Facilitate strong transparent communication with all stakeholders

· Take responsibility for product delivery success

· Support Product Owner to ensure a prioritized backlog is maintained and groomed to ensure sprints are seeded in advance

· Monitor scrum processes and meetings, drive efficiency and continuous improvement, motivate the team, ensure quality solutions, and define key performance metrics and progress tracking

· Create project outlines and timelines and distribute responsibilities to team members

· Resolve barriers within the Digital Marketing team and in peer IS organizations collaboratively as a partner with a One Team approach

· Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met

· Manage partnerships and delivery with other Anixter and external suppliers

· Provide input to reviews for Agile team members

Required Skills/Experience

· JIRA

· Bachelor's Degree in a related field

· Team Player

· Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices and theory

· Servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, empowerment

· Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Desired Skills

· Knowledge of eCommerce domain and B2B

· Scrum Master certification (CSM)

· Previous experience as a team lead

· Previous Software development experience
