Security Account Executive - Contract-to-Hire

Our IIoT client has asked us to help them find a contract-to-hire Security Account Executive who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the sales relationship with each client/prospect what will initially be a national geography. The SAE will help drive new cyber security business through the identification, development, negotiation, and closure of security solution projects and service agreements. The SAE will prospect with existing clients, new potential clients, and participate in the ongoing maintenance of the client relationship. Cyber security will encompass all digital offerings and range in scale from short-term consulting engagements to complex, multi-year, multi-service, and global projects and partnerships.

responsibilities:
This position will:

  • Have a strong Business Development component for large projects
  • Responsibility in Account Management
  • Utilize solution selling for projects and services
  • Will have minimum travel requirement of 50%
 
qualifications:
Experience:

  • 10+ years of complex, solution selling sales experience to industrial clients, ideally process industries
  • Tech knowledge of Controls, Instruments, and Advanced Apps for process optimization
  • Solid experience in Industrial Automation
  • Knowledgeable in the selling of IT and IIoT cyber security products
  • Comfortable selling SaaS model
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding yearly quota
  • Experience in business transformation solutions
  • IIoT - ABB, Schneider, GE, Honeywell, Emerson, Rockwell
  • Sales Engineer more than pure; person would be supporting other sales channels
  • BS or BA degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Could be located anywhere there's a major airport
We're anticipating an hourly pay rate in the $35-$45/hour range.
