job summary:
Title:

Outreach Coordinator

They will be working remote but need to be near the Fresno or Clovis areas to attend events

Will most likely attend events about 4 hours a week. (Must have a valid Driver License)

Responsibilities

- Be the primary point of contact with local residents and representatives, receiving feedback and providing information about the program

- Maintain community feedback hotline and issues database.

- Respond to email and other inquiries.

- Organize, facilitate, and staff outreach events

- Coordinate outreach activities across key stakeholders.

- Maintaining schedules, planning and logistical timelines for public events.

- Participate in the development of outreach strategy and outreach materials, including: strategy, messaging, collateral material design and production, etc.

- Draft outreach material content and maintain key messages including on Social Media and website.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum of 3 years experience working on Public Health Outreach or Science Communications in a community setting.

- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business, Communications, or related field OR equivalent years of experience is required

- Strong, clear writing style and excellent editing skills.

- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to deliver quality work while managing multiple projects.

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

- Must possess a valid California Drivers License Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Graduate qualifications in Public Health, Health Communications and/or Science Outreach
