Position Description

Social media marketing manager

The product Store is hardware's rapidly-growing owned and operated online hardware eCommerce store that showcases and sells new devices made with technology. On a day-to-day basis, the Store marketing team is brainstorming innovative ideas to showcase flagship products, driving awareness and traffic, running promotions, acquiring new customers, growing relationships with existing customers, assessing opportunities analysis and research, and finding creative ways to bring unique online shopping experiences to life.

The Role:

Our goal is to raise the awareness and understanding of the product online store a "go-to" destinations for users looking to buy hardware devices online. In this unique role, you will drive the overall Awareness of the product Store via various available social media channels, including but not limited to Twitter, G+ and Video Partners. You'll identify, analyze, negotiate, and execute high impact co-marketing and partnership campaigns to raise product Store awareness and grow traffic and users. You will establish relationships with and manage vendors/agencies as needed, and will explore creative and high impact ways to grow awareness in consumer's minds. You will work closely with other product and brand marketing teams as well as other social teams at product to leverage their efforts for the benefit of the Product Store. You will also directly manage significant paid social budget spends and campaigns and use data to inform media buying decisions and improve media performance.

The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, problem solver and exceptional marketer with the proven ability to multi-task and experience leading and executing global campaigns in an e-Commerce channel. This is a critical and high visibility role with an opportunity for a strong candidate to make direct impact on the future of a rapidly growing product and channel at company

Responsibilities:

Identify, assess, outreach, negotiate, and execute strategic marketing partnerships and campaigns with internal and external partners to build awareness and grow traffic and users on company's social media channels.

Work closely with demand gen and cross-functional product teams to increase product Store awareness at internal and external events such as product I/O, Developer Group, etc.

Create and optimize the Top of the Funnel Social Awareness campaigns using Sprinklr, Crimson Hexagon and other social analytic tools

Be the day to day POC to manage media agency to oversee the campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies

Manage organic and paid social media creatives

Execute engaging and innovative campaigns to drive product Store awareness and consideration on various social channels

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years proven experience in designing and executing large scale integrated marketing strategy and campaigns in eCommerce or hardware devices

2+ years experience at a consumer tech company or eCommerce company.

Strong expertise in social marketing and video marketing, especially awareness focused online advertising and video programs.

Experience with most popular social channels like Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube to drive successful marketing campaigns and strategies

Strong brand creative experience, managing digital creatives that convey the product Store brand.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills-must have both an interest and skill in analyzing and making meaning out of data and translating that into actionable changes

Experience with Adobe creative platforms like Photoshop and Illustrator

Excellent written and oral communication skills in presenting and delivering key messages to internal and external audiences.

Strong project and program management skills. Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.

Distinctive problem-solving skills. A keen attention to detail.

BA/BS degree in business, marketing, communications or related field.
