Corporate Business Development Manager - Global Forwarding

A leading international forwarder, and top provider of a full suite of supply chain solutions, has an opportunity for an aggressive self-starter who is a strong relationship builder, and, who understands the value of building long-lasting business relationships. This role will be a direct sales position (Senior Account Executive) to be based in Cincinnati, and will cover the Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky area. The Business Development Manager will be will be focused on selling a full global forwarding solution including international air, ocean, customs house brokerage, purchase order management, and consultative solutions related to global transportation.

qualifications:
.Ideal candidates will have a solid 7 + years of proven sales ( client facing) experience in global forwarding. Must have a solid knowledge of clients in the OH Valley and KY market that import and export products globally. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, and the ability to deliver a compelling value proposition to prospect are key to this role. BA or BS degree preferred, problem solving and analytical skills related to logistics and customer service are also preferred.
