Marketing Events Specialist III

job summary:
Position Description

Client's Maps Platform is looking for an experienced events manager to execute strategic events such as our annual flagship conference and city tours.

Job responsibilities

-Develop event strategy and project manage all work streams for strategic events

-Full event management and production including all aspects of event logistics from development of content, production, venue management, audience development, promotions and other event-related marketing responsibilities.

-Interact with and manage multiple vendors, partners, company executives and a wide range of functional groups within company.

-Strategize, implement and optimize work streams, including managing to budget, to enable global program success and growth

-Lead cross-functional strategic work streams with key cross-functional stakeholders, including Developer Relations, Sales, Product and Marketing stakeholders

-Align with stakeholders across their business to ensure their needs and goals are being supported

-Supervise a distributed team including vendors, agencies, and contractors

-Manage event budget and develop processes for consistently tracking and measuring the impact of event experiences

-Carry out post-event analysis, reporting on ROI and making recommendations on improving future events with stakeholders

Requirements: Strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task, and work efficiently in a high-paced environment

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory You will have strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to oversee and manage all aspects of event execution while managing multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.

Desired You will have strong working knowledge of marketing automation and CRM systems to manage lead flow and reporting of key business metrics.
