job summary:
Position Description

Today there are over 4 billion users already online, with more than a billion getting connected in the next few years. Most of this growth will come from a small set of countries; India, Indonesia, Nigeria, China and Brazil. The NBU marketing team's mission is to connect these next billion users to technology that expands their opportunities so that company is relevant to everyone, everywhere.

The NBU Brand, Events & Experiences team's job is to tell these stories to a range of audiences - internal leadership, press, partners, and our target users. Within company, we shine a light on the challenges and opportunities we face in NBU markets through initiatives like NBU-hosted executive immersions, internal summits, and creative communications. For external audiences, we deliver compelling brand communications and high-profile events, like NBU's flagship "company For" program showcasing company's commitment to NBU countries.

A successful candidate will have deep passion and understanding for the NBU mission, a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences (including internal executive stakeholders, external partners, and agencies), experience working cross-functionally with teams around the world, and eagerness to travel as we scale key initiatives across the globe.

You'll spend your time executing on all aspects of the team's efforts, including supporting and scaling our "company for" events, executive immersions, and brand marketing across the NBU product portfolio. Tactically, that means program management, agency vendor management, logistics, comms, production, and more. Your organizational skills, project management skills, and creative flair all find their place in this role.
