job summary:
NOTE: WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER CANDIDATES with a minimum of TWO YEARS of DIRECT return to work and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation and disability management experience.

Responsible for providing human resource consultation in all aspects of human resources with an emphasis on accommodations and disability management. 2+ years of previous high level ADA consulting experience required. Provides proactive support to client groups by developing and implementing sound human resource programs that meet business objectives. Partners with managers as an internal consultant to strategize, define and resolve complex issues which require an evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined policies and practices in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Works with various levels of management to build leadership competencies and consult on management practices.

This position is responsible for performing a specialized function in a corporate human resources environment. The position is an integral member of a team responsible for supporting all lines of business, a broad client base across the enterprise, and delivering value added service. Involves contacts throughout the company and exposure to sensitive information using considerable tact and discretion. Researches, reviews, analyzes, and recommends actions and leads interactive process to resolution. May assist in the development, implementation, and administration of company personnel policies, procedures, and programs. Manages or participates in departmental projects to further business initiatives. Provides policy interpretation and guidance regarding disability management related topics. Duties may include: - Consultation with team members, job seekers, managers and other partners on a variety of accommodations related requests - Individual analysis and timely recommendations of accommodation requests on a case by case basis, including engaging in the interactive process - Engage key partners as needed, including Human Resources/Employee Relations, Healthcare Providers, Disability Administrator, HR Policy and Corporate ER, Corporate Properties, Risk & Insurance Management/Workers' Comp, Employee Assistance, Law department and Leave Management - Timely and comprehensive case management of complex accommodation requests - Educating managers and the HR community on the accommodations process and its relation to ADAAA and other federal regulations, state statutes and local ordinances
