Human Resources Jr. Generalist will provide day to day tactical support on a wide range of HR initiatives, activities and programs.

responsibilities:
Recruitment

·Support all recruitment activities for technical and non-technical positions

·Manage Job Posting Boards

·Manage resume database

Pre-Employment

  • Initiate Sterling background checks in Workday
  • Monitor background results, consult with HR Manager when concerns arise
  • Process all new hire paperwork
On-boarding

  • Support New Hire Orientation Program
  • Review all new hire and compliance documents
  • Manage 1-9 (E-verify) Portal
  • Ensure IT Request have been placed
  • Coordinate with IT to obtain New Hire Photo ID
HRIS

  • Update employee Workday records
  • Initiate various changes within Workday System
  • Ensure integrity of data entered into Workday System
  • Perform Workday data audits
  • Provide monthly reports to requesting stakeholders
Benefits

  • Provide documents and guidance on NYS PFL, STD (Statutory and Optional) benefits
  • Provide guidance on and maintain track of tuition reimbursement disbursements
  • Ensure Worker's Compensation incidents reported in timely manner
Compliance

  • Ensure timely distribution of NYS Wage documents
  • Maintain New York State Technical License Spreadsheet
  • Ensure all Compliance Posters posted in accordance with Federal, State and Local Requirements
  • Ensure Compliance department receives required reports and documentation in a timely manner
HR Activites

  • Coordinate employee training schedules
  • Support Employee Appreciate Programs
  • Support CBL Employee Activity Programs
  • Additional Administrative and HR duties as assigned
  • Coordinate with Payroll to process employee referral payout
Position Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree with 1-2 years HR generalist and in recruiting experience
  • Must have Workday experience
  • Must have benefits administration experience
  • Must have excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess strong independent skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong project management skills are essential.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must take a proactive approach to HR responsibilities
  • Must possess a can-do attitude
 
qualifications:
  • Experience in healthcare services environment a plus
  • Exposure to EEO- reporting
  • DOL Survey reporting
  • Strong software and systems skills
  • Degree preferred
