job summary:
Position Description

As the Experiential Manager, you'll be a part of the wider client's Cloud marketing, Events and Strategic Initiatives team, which produces Cloud Next global conferences, Strategic Initiatives, and Tier 1 partnership events.

Cloud engages with customers everyday and in a variety of ways. As a company, we put the user first, and within events that means considering all aspects of an attendee's journey and ensuring it is the best experience possible, all while ensuring it feels authentically company. As an Experiences team, we ground ourselves in the attendee and strategize, consult, and create experiences that elevate and enhance their experience from the small to the large.

You will be responsible for supporting the Experiential Programs Lead across a variety of events both large and small, and bringing a consistent and user-first experience to all of our Cloud events. This role will project manage the process of program kickoffs, ideation brainstorms, experiential guidelines and best practices, and support in research, measurement, creative development, and strategy. You will manage program deliverables from kickoff to delivery, reporting into the Experiential Programs Lead.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

1) Develop and drive consistency across attendee experience at all Google Cloud events via best practices and regular communication with XFN teams

2) Manage research, deliverables from XFN partners, lead meeting creation and agenda, and manage project details across multiple workstreams

3) Field inquiries for experiential strategy / ideas from XFN teams and determine Level of Experiential Engagement and RACI based on broader Experiential Engagement calendar

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. +5 years of experience in events, preferably enterprise events Experience in both experiential strategy as well as creative ideation as it relates to customer experiences Experience within the technology sector Understanding of the overall marketing landscape and customer / consumer profiles A proven track record of being an independent self-starter Located in the Bay Area; ability to be based in San Francisco and commute 2-3x/monthly to Sunnyvale
