Marketing Manager

job summary:
Position Description

As a Marketing professional at Client's GPS Navigator App, you will take part in the complete marketing experience as you'll lead the externally facing partner journey for west coast partners. From acquisition to onboarding to engagement, you'll determine the positioning of App's Carpool locally to drive awareness and consideration of programs for key and longtail partners, while helping it grow and engage our user base.

You will work with a cross-functional team across business development, brand & creative, corporate communications, legal, web, product, and more. The role will enable you to shape the future of APP's local marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Localize core B2B narrative kit (deck, support materials, case studies, etc.) to the San Francisco & SoCal marketplaces and customize for partner needs to educate, inspire, onboard and create partner advocacy.
  • Maintain a subject matter expertise on partner ecosystem, stay abreast of mobility industry developments and be aware of local community culture, trends and activities.
  • Oversee thought leadership and sponsorship opportunities at regional trade shows.
  • Build and maintain consumer marketing kits to drive awareness and education of the App's Carpool program
  • Enable onboarding and engagement with App's Carpool at scale by overseeing local field marketing and experiential activations for consumers.
  • Execute user communications campaigns for partner audiences on app channels (e.g. push notifications, email, etc.).
  • Recap all activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), highlighting insights and success for further US / global roll-out.
Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory- 6 -10 years of experience in partner marketing, B2B marketing, product marketing or a similar team for a mobile/consumer tech product.

- Experience in experiential / activation production.

- Experience building narratives and educational materials for B2B audiences.

- Experience working with brand and creative teams to maintain brand identity and project manage creative requests.

-High School Diploma

- BA

Desired- Startup experience and mentality with the ability to shift between strategy and execution. Startup attitude and a passion for building new products and businesses. Experience organizing and pushing a program forward, identifying a clear path for all parties and keeping the group on time and on goal. - Global experience is a plus, but even without it, the person should have an appreciation and understanding for cultural differences. Experience with usercom is a plus - You are a highly organized, focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize asks. - Creative thinker who understands how the importance of scaling content and programs. - Skilled communicator with strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including both professional and casual style of communication.
