job summary:
Human Resources Plant Manager in Cartersville, GA. Our client is looking for an HR Professional with a strong background in employee relations and worker's compensation to take on the Plant HR Manager role for a 300+ person manufacturing facility.

responsibilities:
  • Employee relations and policies/procedural experience needed
  • Working closely with Plant Manager and Production Supervisors as it relates to training

    - Recruiting, onboarding, and training of new hires
  • - Prepare new hire materials, including but not limited to new hire paperwork and benefits materials, verify I-9 documentation
  • Working closely with Safety Director, Handling of OSHA issues, and HR portion of Worker's Compensation investigations
  • Handling highly confidential employee relations information
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous Plant HR experience is highly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience is needed
