Sales Account Manager

job summary:
Our client, who is a Minnesota-based plastics injection molding company, is looking for experienced Account Managers to grow their already successful Sales team. This position is being added due to growth of the company (even during the pandemic due to COVID-19) and they are looking to bring the right candidate aboard immediately!

As an Account Manager, you would be responsible for enhancing existing customers' experiences through researching how your company can bring them greater value through consultative and conversation based sales. Hunting will also be a part of the role to ensure there is a consistent flow of new business coming in. This job will also include generating quotes and handling the full cycle of the sales process, so technical or engineering experience would be very beneficial. If you are someone that has been in the injection molded plastics industry for 5 or more years and work well under almost no supervision this will be an excellent role for you!

As far as compensation goes, you will have a base salary of between $70,000 and $90,000 (depending on experience) plus added bonuses. The position also comes with a very competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision and 401k). The company is also very excited at the idea of candidates that want to continue education, and they are willing to discuss school reimbursement.   • The sales account manager is responsible for commercial and technical interaction with existing customers with the intent of acquiring a greater portion of their injection molding business.
  • This role engages with existing customers strengthening an already well-established relationship, broadening and deepening our client's involvement with their product development team.
  • Identifying and pursuing new opportunities that align with our client's strengths is essential.
  • In addition to estimating, the candidate must possess solid technical skills interpreting applications and furnishing viable solutions.
