Pharmaceutical Contracts Manager
A well respected pharmaceutical company is in need of a Contracts Manager with 2+ years of experience sourcing, negotiating, executing and managing life sciences contracts.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) temporary role expected to last for 1 year in duration. An extension is possible. Work is remote right now, but work will resume onsite, so you must be able to work onsite in Northbrook, IL.

Responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing contracting activities for assigned projects to support the Development activities.
Source and negotiate budgets for Development studies as well as negotiate agreements using templates. Agreement types include: Services Agreements, Amendments, Work Orders, and Change Orders.
Ensure that pricing (FSP, Fixed Price, Unit Price, Fee for Service, study budget etc.), and payment terms appropriately protect, are in the best interests of the organization, are consistent and well defined, and are reasonable and customary and within the overall category strategy.
Role will require management of multiple and simultaneous projects impacting Development and other support activities for the department related to processes, procedures, and metrics tracking. Activities within this role include effectively communicating with assigned stakeholders, developing relationships with assigned stakeholders, managing work load efficiently, and timely turnaround.
This position requires:
(A) 2+ years of experience sourcing, negotiating, executing and managing life sciences contracts.
(B) A bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree such as a JD, MBA or MA is highly preferred.
