Territory Salesperson

Well-established global company in the packaging space is growing rapidly and needs a solid Territory Salesperson to cold call, develop relationships and manage customers in the local territory.

This Territory Salesperson role is located in the Phoenix area and we're only considering LOCAL CANDIDATES.

responsibilities:
The basics:

- Drive B2B business and sales growth for the local market

- Grow the customer base by prospecting and closing deals

- Achieve sales and profitability goals and objectives

- Develop a sales plan for consistent growth


MUST HAVES:

- 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience (B2C does not count)

- local market knowledge of manufacturing and distribution firms

- Must live
in the Phoenix area - LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

 
qualifications:
Background and other stuff:

- 3+ years successfully selling to manufacturing and distribution firms in the Phoenix/Tucson area

- Experience in successfully managing new business development and existing customer relationships

- BA or BS degree preferred but not required

- Sales and or Telemarketing experience

- Understanding of Supply Chain process


- Multi-lingual: English / French / Spanish preferred

- Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and MS-Office

Compensation and benefits:

- $50K base salary first 12 months

- After first 12 months, base salary will then be +/- $30K plus 2% on all gross sales (estimated $1M++ annual sales after 12 months)

- The more accounts you add the more your income grows year over year - not capped; some reps earning $100K+

- $800/month car allowance

- Expense account for business related expenses

- Internet broadband connection

- Medical insurance coverage 50% paid by company.

- Cell phone + computer

- 2 weeks' vacation
