My client has many unique software products - some are a virtual monopoly - that are sold into the transportation sector and we need someone who not only understands software solution sales but who also understands the power of DATA.

A solid understanding coupled with experience in the transportation sector would be ideal. Familiar with rail and intermodal would be good as well.

- Prospecting, developing, presenting, and closing solutions with clients

- Comfortable hunting for new logos, not just customers management

- Experience w/change and new ways of doing things

- Able to work in a "do it yourself" environment with limited support

- Able to deal w/challenges due to COVID-19

- Able to work with a mixture of small deals and whales

- Know the intrinsic value of hitting quota targets

- Possibly work remotely but may consider relo to Raleigh if needed

Requirements and other stuff:

- BS in Sales, Marketing, BusAdmin, etc.

- Experience in logistics, supply chain and/or transportation logistics

- 3+ years of solid results in IT services, consulting, or B2B sales

- Consulting and business development background is a plus

- Track record of networking and building relationships with clients

- Experience developing and delivering effective C-level presentations


- $80K-$100K+ salary w/all-in target of $150K+
