We are currently hiring for a Dispatcher- with a well established Transportation organization in Burlingame. If you have previous dispatch/administrative experience this position is for you!
- Monitor and answer dispatch radio
- Availability/tracing of drivers and potential clients
- Contacting customers for pick ups and drops offs
- Entering data within dispatching system
- Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner
- Documents and communicates all service related issues.
Working hours: 7am - 3:30pm
Job & Skills Requirements:
-- Previous Administrative/Dispatch experience a plus
-- Experience with prior dispatching tools preferred
-- Knowledge of different airlines and local airports
-- Thorough knowledge of all office procedures
-- Proficient in computer skills for Microsoft Office especially in Word and Excel
-- Must be DETAIL ORIENTED
-- Team player & positive Attitude
-- Responsible for scheduling pickups, deliveries, routing vehicles efficiently, solid organizational and decision making skills.
-- Strong communication skills, daily interaction with driver's and clients.
