Conducting visual and measurement tests using applicable gauges. Scanning and attaching heat and shipment information in Plex. Confirming production specifications. Conducting visual and measurement tests. Communicating required adjustments to production operators and set-up technicians. Confirming product specifications. Conducting visual and measurement tests. Initiating re-work if necessary and confirming its completion. Documenting inspection results. Summarizing re-work and waste. Inputting data into quality database. Creating customer returns for non-conforming products. Creating supplier returns for non-conforming products. Providing input into root cause analysis. Facilitating corrective actions if required. Performing inventory movements with proper documentation. Conducting dock audits to verify product accuracy. Keeping measurement equipment operating by following instructions. Initiating repairs when necessary. Assisting with quality audits. Supporting other quality documentation functions Demonstrating a basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), trending, and CPK. Using information to follow up on inspection trends and results. Inspecting production procedures to ensure efficiency and safety standards compliance.
