job summary: A QA/QC Program Engineer is needed for an American social media conglomerate corporation in the Mesa, AZ area. The job entails overseeing and enhancing quality assurance and quality control processes, facilitating effective communication among various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with construction standards in data center or mission-critical construction projects. location: Mesa, Arizona job type: Contract salary: $26 - 33 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Develop and monitor quality program metrics to evaluate project performance.Analyze metrics to understand the root cause of any concerning trends and collaborate with relevant parties to correct them.Assist in developing on-site partner construction QA and QC team.Aid in developing QA/QC processes and standards for efficiency and effectiveness, facilitating cross-functional communications.Interface between design, construction, facility operations, and general contractors.Provide training on quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QA/QC process.Coordinate quality issues among design, construction, and facility operations teams.Audit QA/QC activities of staff and subcontractors to assess conformance with procedures.Examine all submittals, especially MEP submittals, for quality assurance and provide feedback to ensure compliance.Develop, review, and approve construction quality procedures, checklists, technical deliverables, and test procedures.Recommend and verify effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for project non-conformances.Review commissioning scripts and provide feedback.Assist construction manager in reviewing turnover documentation package for completeness and accuracy.Assist in reviewing energization, start-up, and commissioning schedules for compliance.Help resolve open issues in BIM360 and escalate outstanding items.Attend factory witness tests for owner furnished and contractor installed equipment.Provide onsite visual inspection for construction quality control of equipment and systems.Assist in confirming completion and retention of testing documentation.Provide assistance in reviewing labeling, signage, and tagging.Assist in developing project-specific QA/QC dashboards, equipment tracking matrices, and presentations.Attend construction meetings such as weekly project meetings, monthly global QA/QC meetings, MEP/OAC meetings, and daily start-up and commissioning meetings. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in quality control & quality assurance programs for data centers or mission-critical construction projects.Experience with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build construction programs.Experience in civil/structural, building envelope, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines.Experience leading QA/QC and Cx programs.Experience in contractor, consultant, and vendor management.Experience in mission-critical power and cooling infrastructure or other critical systems.
